If you are pregnant, you have rights in the workplace under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. Protections also include conditions associated with pregnancy.
An employer cannot refuse to let you perform your job just because you are pregnant. If you are temporarily unable to perform the major functions of your job, your employer must treat you as a temporarily disabled employee, including providing a reasonable accommodation if needed.
Please call Meredith if you believe you have been discriminated against due to a pregnancy, or terminated because of a pregnancy.
